Gas cooking ovens are present in most homes today. Its operation is already well understood and several models are available on the market. But given the need for more efficient equipment, in order to reduce gas consumption and make better use of the energy used, its study is of great importance for manufacturers. In this line of research, evaluate the temperature distribution inside and outside a gas cooking oven, to understand whether there is a homogeneity of cooking temperature (uniform cooking) and also what the thermal energy losses are to the environment. . This study leads to two fronts of research and development, one of which is associated with the burner that is installed, in order to evaluate its geometry, distribution of opportunities for the flame and also power, seeking optimization in terms of consumption, efficiency and uniform distribution of heat. Another research is associated with the insulating materials used in this equipment, the study for the development of materials that reduce the heat energy losses to the environment and that at the same time are environmentally friendly and low cost.
