With the increasing reduction in noise emitted by aeronautical engines, evidenced in recent years, an in-depth study not only of jet noise, but also of its interaction with the aircraft platform (airframe) that surrounds it, becomes relevant. To this end, it is essential both knowledge of the physics of noise generation and the availability of various numerical tools that allow rapid assessment of the aircraft's external noise levels, allowing the development of less noisy aircraft, increasing the quality of life of populations in close to the various aerodromes in Brazil and around the world. Along these lines, this project aims to carry out an in-depth study of the interaction of the jets emitted by the engines with the aircraft's surfaces, in addition to new concepts for the acoustic treatment of engines. With this, the objective is to develop knowledge about the noise emitted by the interaction between jet turboprops and the aerodynamic surfaces of the aircraft that carry them.
