This is a project financed by FINEP in cooperation with the Oncological Research Center of Santa Catarina, whose objective is to meet the growing demand of patients who have lost their voice as a result of laryngeal cancer. The project structure is organized to meet two final goals: 1) Develop a voice prosthesis by similarity, based on imported tracheo-esophageal valves, currently available on the market; 2) Develop a patent for a new tracheo-esophageal prosthesis that allows it to be adapted according to the physiological characteristics of each patient
