- Description: The Catarina Constellation is a nanosatellite constellation planned by the Brazilian Space Agency, with the support of the Mixed Parliamentary Front for the Brazilian Space Program of the Chamber of Deputies. It is a constellation with applications in civil defense, agriculture, energy, water management, among other sectors. The project will be implemented by a consortium of national innovation, science, and technology institutions in collaboration with companies and users in the sector. It is a strategic initiative aimed at developing the aerospace sector and promoting research, development, and innovation activities in national institutions and companies, generating impactful results for strategic sectors of society and the economy.

Human Resources Training Program of Excellence for the Santa Catarina Aerospace Cluster

- Description: The project aims to create the Human Resources Training Program of Excellence for the Santa Catarina Aerospace Cluster (RHE-Aero). This program covers the training of professionals at undergraduate, stricto sensu postgraduate and extracurricular training levels. From an undergraduate perspective, the objective of RHE-Aero will be to work alongside the Undergraduate Course in Aerospace Engineering at the UFSC Campus in Joinville. From a postgraduate perspective, the objective is to work together with the consolidated Masters and Doctorate programs at CTC, as well as with the Masters program in Engineering and Mechanical Sciences at UFSC – Joinville, creating a transversal line of research in aeronautics and space between the programs. The third action will be in the field of human resources training with the organization of short courses aimed at graduates, to be taught by specialists from abroad and Brazil.
Creation of the Santa Catarina’s Convergence Center for Aerospace Technologies

- Description: In July 2019, SC2C.Aero received financial resources through the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communication (MCTIC), resulting from a parliamentary amendment by Senator Dalio Beber and Federal Representative Carmem Zanotto. The main objective was to structure the SC2C.Aero. The main activities for the period were:

- Implementation of the SC2C.Aero office at UFSC;

- Study and plan for future implementation of technological demonstrators using the current infrastructure available at ISTs of Santa Catarina;

- Detailing of operation model of the convergence center and business plan appropriate for the management of SC2C.Aero and its technological demonstrators in development;

- Creation and operation of a secretariat focused on customer relationship management and technical communication with companies and ISTs in the national and international aerospace segment;
- Execution of international matchmaking event of triple helix integration, closing another annual cycle.
