SC2C.Aero and BARINet

Prof. Victor J. De Negri, coordinator of Santa Catarina’s Center of Convergence for Aerospace Tecnologies – SC2C.Aero, and representing the Federal University of Santa Catarina – UFSC, has signed a MoU with the Brazilian Aerospace Research and Innovation Network – BARINet. More than a supporter of the initiative, SC2C.Aero has actively collaborated with BARINet that aims to foster and strengthen the relationship of academia with the Brazilian aerospace segment. In addition to UFSC, the institutes ITA, UFMG and USP are the founders of BARINet, whose main attributes are:

 

 

 

  • The memorandum objective is to support the following joint research, training, and development initiatives:
    Joint research projects;
  • Map and connect members that are working on similar topics;
  • Identify demands and interests from industrial organizations and other stakeholders and map them to its members;
  • Promote activities that foster the transformation of academic research into innovation and its evolution towards higher Technology Readiness Level (TRL);
  • Identify complementarity among its members;
  • Foster joint research among its members;
  • Be a representative stakeholder of the Brazilian Aerospace academia;
  • Foster collaboration with associations from Brazil and abroad;
  • Be a gateway for promoting national and international opportunities that are of interest for its members.
