Since 2019, the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation has coordinated the cooperation in aeronautics and science, technology, and innovation between Brazil and Sweden. This initiative is based on the Economic, Industrial, and Technological Cooperation Agreement signed by the Brazilian and Swedish governments in 1986 and the Additional Protocol on Cooperation in High Industrial and Innovative Technology signed in 2009.
In November 2024, the 10th Meeting of the Brazil-Sweden High-Level Group on Aeronautics (HLG), the 9th Meeting of the Brazil-Sweden Steering Group on Innovative High Technological Cooperation (SGI), and the 34th meeting of the Executive Committee on Aeronautics (EC-GAN) will take place in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. The Embassy of Sweden in Brasília will also host the 12th edition of the Sweden-Brazil Innovation Weeks, with the opening ceremony in Florianópolis on November 11th.
In addition to the official meetings and events, several workshops related to Brazil-Sweden cooperation in aeronautics and space will be held from November 11 to 13, 2024, as part of the Brazil-Sweden Cooperation Meetings 2024 in Floripa. These workshops will be held at the headquarters of the Federation of Industries of the State of Santa Catarina—FIESC.

The workshops are open to the public, but due to auditorium capacity, participation is limited. The registration requests will be accepted from September 20th to October 26th.
